Males and females can be distinguished at a first glance, because males have beards. Unicorns have the ability to sense evil and are mighty protectors of the good and innocent, especially women and children. Sometimes they serve as mounts to female paladins of impeccable integrity or mighty fey and elven rulers, but always of their own choice.
