$4.00Guns, Carronades and Carriages for late 18th/early 19th Century Sailing Ships (English)
myminifactory
This set of cannon reflect the English design for cast iron cannon on Napoleonic-era warships, so these are the guns that won the day at Trafalgar. They have a distinctive ring for breech ropes at the cascabel in the back. Also, one early 1790's style carronade is included here - this one still has trunnions and is mounted on a small primitive carriage. The original scale here is 1:72, please use that to re-size to the scale that you require. Update 24.12.2021: Added two smaller calibres, a 6lb and a 8lb (or 9lb), named as version "O". Also, the carriages for the 12lb and the 18lb versions were slightly increased in size to match the intended starting scale, again now listed as version "O".
