3xAAA battery holder for headlamp
thingiverse
This sleek design fits three AAA batteries perfectly and serves as a reliable replacement battery pack for my trusty headlamp. Simply stash it in your backpack, and you'll be all set until it's time to swap out the old ones.\r\n\r\nThe compact design draws inspiration from Walter's ingenious battery case on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:57281).\r\n\r\nUpdate 16.08.2018: The concept has evolved rapidly! To address the question of whether the batteries are fully charged or not, I've added symbols at both the top and bottom. With a simple turn, you can indicate if they're full by aligning the positive pole with the power symbol. Conversely, for empty batteries, simply flip them over. For those with memory issues like me, this clever design stores the information for you. If you want to get fancy, consider adding color changes after the first layer. G-Code files for Prusa Mk3 i3 are included, and I've also added a convenient slot for easier case opening.
