This print utilizes around 200 grams of PLA filament. It incorporates 9 generic ceramic ferrite 18mm circular magnets to create a strong magnetic hold. Hot glue is used to secure the magnets at the correct depth, ensuring a stable attachment. The magnetic planter boasts a spacious interior measuring 3 by 3 inches and approximately 3 inches deep for soil retention. A water catch tray and name tag are integrated features of this design. Generic 18mm ceramic magnets were employed, while hot glue was used to maintain their position. Additionally, an optional version without the name tag slot is available, as the existing hole may leave visible lines that some users might not prefer if they choose not to utilize it. The catch tray features a magnet at its top, which securely attaches to the magnet at the planter's bottom. A total of 5 magnets are situated on the back of the planter and 2 on the rear of the catch tray, effectively holding them in place against metal doors. This setup has proven effective for our door, as it remains stationary even when slammed shut; however, users with heavier soils or larger plants may encounter slight movement. Exercise caution when handling magnets and keep them out of reach from children.
