This design is based on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2165589 by Tapion. A simplified version of the original battery case design allows for printing two identical objects at once. Both pieces can function as either tops or bottoms, providing versatility in usage. I intentionally included a 1mm gap to ensure easy detection of inserted batteries before handling the object. Printing just one piece is also an option, effectively containing loose batteries within the enclosure. It's recommended to lightly sand the interior surface to prevent material scratches on battery casing, although this step may not be necessary depending on the printer's quality and print settings. I have successfully printed this design in PLA, but see no reason why ABS wouldn't yield similar results.
