When using a Micro USB male to female adapter cord extension connector, mount the Printrboard USB port to extend its length and secure it on the 3uP frame. To accomplish this, insert a Micro USB male to female adapter cord extension connector. This particular mount is designed to complement the 3uP Power Switch mount and can also be used with the modified Printrboard Mount to set back the Printboard edge from the frame edge so that the USB plug does not extend past the frame edge. Below you'll find instructions: The OpenSCAD model may be adjusted in size for different types of plugs. Verify your USB plug sizing, then adjust the model if necessary. The model includes an additional 1mm to the width and height of the plug body opening to account for material shrinkage. Drill a hole of 13/64" with a drill bit through the M5 hole. If necessary, file the extrusion slot rib snugly.
