The 3-Sided Twist Vase By hashtagdavi I crafted this vase in Fusion 360 during my initial Autodesk Design Academy Lessons, focusing on the use of Spline Tools for creating freeform geometry with tools like Loft, Sweep, and Revolve. These tools are all part of the Spline Tools set, which I've found to be extremely useful in making detailed and intriguing curved shapes throughout my design process. The lesson had users create a model using these tools or follow along with the example, designing a vase and incorporating the required tools. I decided to duplicate what was being covered while injecting my own design choices to ensure that my final product would not only meet but exceed my expectations. Using Spline Tools turned out to be a game-changer for me, and now I rely on them heavily in my designs. After following along with the lesson and making adjustments as needed, I successfully created a model that I'm proud of and can't wait to see come to life through 3D printing.
