3S2P Battery pack case

3S2P Battery pack case

thingiverse

This is a basic enclosure for an 18650 battery pack. It's designed for either a 3S2P configuration or vice versa, which allows for six batteries to be stored inside. When handling Li-Ion batteries, safety should always be the top priority. I'm printing this in PLA, but if you plan on using it outdoors, PETG would be a much better choice. This is my first project, so feel free to ask me any questions or point out anything that needs improvement. The design includes cutouts for an XT60 male connector and a 15mm toggle switch, although the latter may require some filing to fit perfectly. Enjoy using it! EDIT: Unfortunately, I discovered a design flaw in the initial parts, which caused them not to match up properly. To correct this issue, I've updated the design with a new lid that fits correctly and replaced the round toggle switch with a square one since I was out of stock on the latter. EDIT2 29.5.2019: I've added the .step file for anyone who wants to modify it according to their needs.
