This bolt is specifically designed for attaching to a 4mm threaded shaft found on many motors available online at eBay and Amazon. The original motor this bolt was intended for is a "12V DC High Torque Slow Speed Electric Motor Gearbox 3 RPM 4mm Shaft Diameter" model, which is used to rotate a disco ball. Any motor with the same 4mm shaft size should work properly. To secure it, you will need a short 3mm screw that can fit onto the motor shaft.
