3Racing Sakura D4 RWD steering extensions

Edit 1: After some consideration, I came up with the idea to create adjustable (angle shaped) steering extensions that can actually adjust toe and/or ackermann. Each extension has a roman numeral on its side, indicating the offset of the turnbuckle holes from the straight line in millimeters. Edit 2: Before installation, you can help the holes align by drilling them with a 3mm drill for the steering and a 2.5mm drill for the ball end. This will make the process easier. Edit 3: I designed a base to hold all the different steering extensions. The base is 16mm wide, so if you want double (or triple, like in the picture) columns, simply copy the base at 16mm offset. I decided to convert my Sakura D4 AWD to RWD. I ordered the steering extensions, but until they arrive, I designed and printed these replacements myself. You will need a few M3X8 or M3X6 screws for each side. The only other thing needed for the conversion is to remove the universal shafts and install the servo turnbuckles in reverse. I printed the steering extensions with ABS plastic, which turns out to be too small to warp even without an enclosure. I have no reason to believe they won't work with other materials as well. If you take care not to bend them during installation or servicing, these extensions are more than capable of handling the load from the servo without damage. They work perfectly! Later: My Boom Racing adjustable steering assembly arrived, but I think these extensions will still be useful for future modifications.
