The design is inspired and hope to raise awareness about Coral Sea reefs. Corals are animals with nervous systems and existed for more than 400 million years ago. We have lost in the last 30 years 50% of them globally and will lose 90% by 2050 even after meeting Paris Agreement targets. It is estimated that 25% of marine life depend on coral reefs in at least one stage of its lifecycle[1].   With a circular Gyroid in the middle, The coral tentacles have been carefully designed using a branched lattice and then carefully sculpted to have a natural waviness and also act as supports for the surrounding shape. The coral tentacles and tiny stones are intersecting each other creating internal channels with an organic feel, visible in transparent materials.   The design need a minimum to no support as most shapes are oriented upwards. The design has been prototyped in FDM with few supports done in Meshmixer. The material intended is a transparent SLA resin.
