I'm using a 5MP camera module with a 72° IR cut for night vision LED fill light on my Raspberry Pi B 3/2. My camera was advertised as 5MP, but the lens says it's actually 3MP. This is used with the stand part facing upwards and the cable pointing downwards unless you use a flip video type plugin. Easier OctoPrint has a flip webcam option.
