This is a versatile mount designed for use with 3mm in diameter LED lights, salvaged from a defective string of Christmas lights. They easily fit onto the frame, securing snugly in place. To achieve an evenly spaced array on the inside of the frame, you can insert an LED every inch, as shown in the accompanying picture - this will require a total of 30 mounts to complete the design. I connected the LEDs by soldering them into a series circuit with ten strategically placed resistors. Next, I repurposed a discarded lamp and removed its power cord. The LEDs were then securely attached to the power cord, which is designed to supply 120 volts of electricity. When activated, the lights illuminate perfectly, casting an adequate amount of light within the printer's interior space. After five iterations of refinement (the fifth revision), I am satisfied with the mount's design and am now ready to share it with others.
