3M to Bartels-Rieger Mask Filter Adapter

This adapter fits Bartels-Rieger filters perfectly into 3M bayonet attachments. I'm indebted to Bdillahunty for the 3M Bayonet adapter design: thing:4227960. Thank you! To get a smooth print, use no brim or raft and just supports in the specified alignment. This ensures contact surfaces are silky smooth, assuming your print surface is flawless. When installing filters into the adapter, note that the 93mm fit can be quite tight. It's highly recommended to seal the wide gap between the filter and adapter with a suitable sealant, such as silicone or hot glue. Anything providing a tight seal will do. You might think this makes the filter single-use, but preliminary results suggest it'll last at least two weeks under normal use, possibly twice that. For an even tighter seal, consider coating the outside of the adapter with a surface sealant you trust. Paint, urethane, or epoxy would work well as long as they're aired out thoroughly to avoid fumes or choose low-fume options. Please note that I'm not liable for any issues with this product, as it's a DIY creation from an amateur like me. If you still want to use it, that's your decision.
