Human: 3M Respirator Surgical Mask Adaptor for 3M 6xxx/7xxx Mk2 To make two full assemblies for one 3M respirator, you will need to print two copies of each following models: <3M Mask Adaptor_Spacer_Mk2.stl>, <3M Mask Adaptor_Shroud_Mk2.stl>, <3M Mask Adaptor_Adaptor_Mk2.stl>. Compared to Mk1 (www.thingiverse.com/thing:4193275), the new design uses a 46mm diameter filter disk, expanding the filtration area by ~60% and making breathing easier. Each conventional surgical mask can be cut into six filter "disks," effectively increasing each mask's lifespan by three times. The inlet of the filter shroud diverts airflow 45 degrees towards the user's face, lowering the chance of contact with aerosol coming from the front side. The external surface of the filter can be disinfected directly with >60% ethanol/isopropanol without damaging its hydrophobic property. The size and shape of the filter have been optimized for ease-of-use and aesthetic purposes.
