I recently lost my female loop for my 3M respirator, so I decided to get creative and reuse a different one I found online. Since it seemed like an easier solution than searching for the original, I gave it a try. To my surprise, it works perfectly fine and stays securely attached to the elastic. If I lose the male part too, you can bet I'll be making another swap!
