3M Respirator Bayonet Style Cap

This modification enables you to connect one side of a 3M respirator so that you can utilize only one cartridge, with less airflow. Print out the design and then insert a 2mm thick piece of rubber cut to the inside diameter of the cap. This rubber will aid in sealing the cap on the respirator when the cap is rotated into position. The rubber can be obtained from a bike tire inner tube. You must conduct a respirator test afterwards to ensure it is airtight. No assurances are made that this modification will keep you safe, although for me it has functioned extremely well.
