Update --------- - Added a large version, each filter box can support a quarter of a surgical mask - A large size has been added, one mask can be cut into four pieces (approximately 60mm) English --------- I originally made this for people in Hong Kong to fight against the corona virus due to their shortage of surgical masks. The idea is that they can cut a surgical mask into four smaller pieces and convert their respirator to use the surgical mask as a filter. By using only two small pieces per day, this will let them conserve their limited number of masks until supplies are back to normal. But guess what, the whole world now has a shortage of masks so I'm going to share my design here. In my country, the number of infections is rising every day, please help each other during this difficult time. I am also running out of surgical masks soon and I will have to use paper towels as filters when the time comes. The main purpose is to block flying dust particles, you can freely modify them, use different colors to print accessories for mix-and-match, or only print one of them to save printing time.
