MASK FILTER REPLACEMENT - 3M - 40 mm vacuum hose To replace the filters for 3M type masks, use a 40mm vacuum hose to connect the face mask and the filter cartridge, securing it with a strap. Plug the second inlet connection using the supplied 3M Filter Plug. All parts are designed to be printed without support, but the connector is recommended to be printed at 100% infill for optimal results. The 3M Connector was printed and tested, providing a good fit with the gasket engaged and the part remaining locked in place. The print settings used were ASA Filament, 100% infill, nozzle size 0.4mm, layer height 0.2mm, speed 50mm, no support, using a Two Trees Sapphire printer and CURA slicer. Two versions of the design are available: Normal and Low Polly, both suitable for use as last resort solutions. Use your own judgment when deciding whether to print these parts. When creating your own filter material, use whatever you have access to and consider the level of protection it will provide compared to having no protection at all. Be Safe! Stay Safe!
