3M Half-Face Mask Exhaust Vent Filter Adapter

This is my first design and first use of CAD for this kind of thing, so I hope it works for you. I prefer to wear a 3M Half-Face mask because it allows me to use aerosol particulate filters, provides a tight seal that doesn't fog my glasses, and also filters so well that when walking into a restaurant or other aromatic place you can't even smell anything. Unfortunately, many places do not allow vented masks because the exhaled air is not filtered. This filter adapter allows you to retrofit a vented 3M Half-Face Mask with a filter alleviating concerns about exhaled filtration. The filter adapter should fit many 3M Half Face Masks in the 5xxx & 6xxx series. The ring snaps on over the exhaust port, then you insert a small square of N95 filter material into the ring, securing the material against the exhaust port with the face plate.
