UPDATE: 2020-02-09 - MK3 Update I've added new parts that make the device more efficient: * A new wall around the main body provides extra protection against airborne pathogens. * The valve can be used with the 6200 mask, reducing waste by half. This design is compatible with common interfaces like the 3M gas mask 6502Q and 6200. It features a side inlet to prevent the spread of virus droplets and allows for easy disinfection on the front side. Installation: 1. Cut the mask into a circle that fits inside the device. 2. Place the circular gasket between the front end and the mask. 3. Clamp the circular clip, then screw in the back end. One mask can be used about 9-10 times before needing replacement. The filters won't get infected by oral humidity, making them last longer than standard masks. Replace them regularly for optimal performance. Printing Parameters: * Use a layer height of 0.1mm (the smaller, the better). * Fill about 40% of the design (the bigger, the better).
