3M Filter Adapter for Snorkel Mask (dual or single filter)

We've got a bunch of snorkel masks on hand, perfect for using with a belt sander in the metal shop. They'll also come in handy during the corona outbreak and for those participating in Yellow Vest and Extinction Rebellion protests. To print these masks, place them flat on the U part with the snorkel attachment pointing up. This design features a double male 3M bayonet connector to attach the adapter to a 3M filter. A generic round particulate filter holder will be uploaded soon. The double-male connector and filter base parts require a plumbing washer for a secure seal. Alternatives include using silicon sealant or hard-glueing them in place. Remixes are available, including a "tube only" version and a "straight to 3M filters" version of the t-bar. Note that the yellow filter is designed for dust only, utilizing the RP461/RP462 standard. The obelisk shape serves to block the center exhalation channel in the mask. Update: The bayonet version has been reuploaded with merged end-caps for added stability. Update: A single filter bayonet version is now available. Update: A simplified dust filter canister base has been added, requiring only the printing of that component and the filter-cap. Check out this excellent remix here - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4246316 - it might better suit your needs, featuring a ventilator connection.
