I wanted to swap out my 3KU delta printer's default extruder for an E3D hotend, so I crafted my own effector - one that will eventually give way to the original metal one. One of this design's drawbacks is a sensor that's too short and no longer usable. This sensor is valuable because it can be used to auto-calibrate M666 settings. To make the sensor functional again, I designed a mount that screws onto the original mount and allows me to use the original sensor with the E3D hotend. The sensor can be adjusted and secured in place using two screws. Print Settings Printer: 3KU Delta Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 2mm Infill: 30% Notes: I utilized a 30% infill rate with a 0.4mm nozzle for this print. You could opt for a lower infill percentage, but I chose to use a slightly higher one due to the need for a sturdy mount.
