3inch cinewhoop
thingiverse
this is a 3 inch cinewhoop that i designed before i remembered i hate pushers. i thought id chuck it on thingy so someone might enjoy it :) top plate and arms are to be cut in 2mm carbon fiber theres two versions of the top plate. one takes m2 press nuts ( https://betafpv.com/products/m2-clamping-nuts ) the other regular m2 nuts. the arms are secured with (8x) 10mm-12mm m2 hex bolts. theres 2 versions of the arms. one for 9x motor pattern and one for 12x motor pattern. the wall is sandwiched between the top plate and the arms then you connect that with (4x) 15-20mm m3 nylon standoffs depending on how tall your motors are. you will need (8x) 10-12mm m3 bolts. to connect the canopy use (2x) 6-10mm m2 bolts at the front and the back one gets attached by the m3 bolt that is used for the front nylon standoff. you will have cut 2mm off the front standoff to keep everything level as the standoff sit on top of the canopy to secure it. the canopy was designed around the caddx polar but any 19x19 camera should fit for the electronics it takes 26x26 whoop or 16x16 flight controllers (26.5x26.5 works asell) and fits a vista behind. the vista holes are 2.5mm so its easier to use small zips ties to secure the vista down. there is only about 2-3mm between my whoop fc and the vista so just be carefull if your whoop board is bigger than 32mm (https://geprc.com/product/gep-20a-f4-aio/ in the picture) i used nylon copa to print the wall and the prop guards but other strong filaments may work too. Dont be silly and print them in something shit other wise they'll just break. conopys printed in tpu and can be printed without supports if printed with the front facing up. prop guards 60% infill and was about 40-50g i might make a lighter version if people want. the one in the pics weighs about 185g with out battery with a full vista hardware list (8x) m2 press nuts or regular m2 nuts (for top plate (8x) 10mm-12mm m2 hex bolts (for arms) (4x) 15-20mm m3 nylon standoffs (8x) 10-12mm m3 bolts (for standoffs) (2x) 6-10mm m2 (for canpoy (3X) rubber dampening things for the jello mount if you give it a go can you please post a pic of your build and put a link if you shoot some vids with it :) updated a few things on 4/01/22 bigger slot to fit xt30 through the top plate and i uploaded the correct canopy this time sorry if you downloaded before i got my shit together :) also did a 12x motor pattern arm for bigger motors and a quick hd jello mount.
