3DX Personal Project - Neopixel Shelf

This was our culminating project for 3DX. It was a personal endeavor that showcased our skills and creativity :)\r\nMy final project video can be accessed via this link: https://youtu.be/bsfV1Jvi9NU\r\n\r\nI drew inspiration from Robert Roberts' design (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQwgZwrXfhc) but wanted to create a smaller, more compact version.\r\n\r\nAcrylic blocks were sourced from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Krystal-Acrylic-Block-Set-5/dp/B002PI8ZCU\r\n\r\nTo measure sound levels, I connected the Adafruit Electret Microphone Amplifier - MAX9814 with Auto Gain Control [ADA1713] to pin A0. This device "listens" to sound waves and triggers the Arduino nano to display a corresponding pattern of lights.\r\n\r\nI modified the code found here: http://textuploader.com/5bf3a but adjusted line 12 to #define NUMBER_PIXEL 15, as I was using 15 neopixels with the same code running in reverse directions.\r\n\r\nThe neopixel data wires were soldered together and attached to pin 6. The program's functions are mapped to different sound levels, creating a dynamic light show that responds to music variations.\r\n\r\n
