Our Mini Rafts are designed to provide the modeller with a selection of small parts for super-detailing your next project! Each Mini Raft contains up to 117 pieces as well as a bonus 10 sample pieces of some of our other offerings. This raft contains three different sizes and three different designs of Cable Glands. Cable glands are designed to protect cables as they passe through walls, cabinets or switchboards. The cable gland tightens around the wire to act as a seal. The design features a 2.5mm long stalk to aid in locating - simply cut the item off at the taper, drill the appropriate size hole in your project and attach with the appropriate adhesive. Each Cable Gland needs to be drilled to accept a wire or cable. To facilitate this, there is a locator divot on the top face. Drill just deep enough to glue the cable in place. Each raft contains three sizes of Cable Glands to suit cable diameters between 0.6 - 1.0mm. These are non-scale items but tend to suit models between 1:24 - 1:10 scale but that all depends on you. The raft can simply be scaled up or down to suit your requirements.
