3DTje RX

**3DTje RX (aka RemiX), my final take on the 3DTje design!** I'm thrilled with this little printer design, and it even fits perfectly on the buildplate of a Prusa Mini! Check out a video of it in action here: https://youtu.be/OrISkJFu41c The machine prints beautifully, and I've made some significant improvements with the new hotend and part cooling setup inspired by the Prusa MK2S. This remix includes fully configured firmware for the MKS Gen L 1.0 board (based on Marlin 1.1.9) as well as the printer profile for Prusa Slicer - just load the included 3D Benchy 3mf file to get the profiles for the machine, 0.2mm layer and PLA. **My goals were to:** * Preserve the original look and feel of the design * Fix all parts with errors that led to problems during slicing * Strengthen the design where possible * Add convenience features like removable build plate, 2 part print bed, easy belt mount on X and Y Axis as well as the use of leadscrews * Keep the same dimensions, all parts are interchangeable with the original design * This remix supplements the original 3DTje, you can mix and match as you like I've tried to capture as many details as possible of my build with the provided pictures. You can find all of the modified and most of the original STL files in the files section as well as a 7zip archive of my OpenSCAD stuff if you want to modify anything! (Also contains STL files, as I'm mostly changing existing stuff...) **Design changes:** * Added slopes for more strength to the base of the Y axis, also added stops to the front to prevent the rods from sliding out * Designed a printable idler wheel to replace the 2 part construct of the original design * Designed a new printbed for IGUS bushings and a flex plate * Added two cuts in the frame to make room for the 114 mm flex plate * Closed the holes in the Z axis top cover to hold the rods in place and prevent them from sliding out on top, also increased the hole diameter for the leadscrew * Modified the left and right X axis to work with a brass nut for the leadscrew * Strengthened the area around the screw for the Z endstop on the left X axis * Designed a new mount plate for the MKS Gen L 1.0 board and added a small 30mm fan mount to cool the steppers * Added a cut in the backplate to make room for the slightly too large MKS board * Closed the fan and power switch mount holes in the backplate too * Realigned the holes for the Display / RepRap Smartcontroller, my Chinese version did totally not fit, also added a rectangle just for design * Designed an alternative mount for an MKS Mini Display * Designed a new hotend mount with clamp and fanshroud for a 5015 blower fan **Hardware changes:** * Using two T5 x 1 x 1 leadscrews + brass nut (Thread diameter 5mm, 1mm pitch, Lead - 1mm per turn) * Switched to the MKS Gen L 1.0 board to make some space on the inside (about half the height of a RAMPS + MEGA2560 stack) * Changed the LM6UU ball bearings to IGUS RJMP-01-06 drylin bushings * Redesigned a new printbed in 2 parts and added a BuildTak FlexPlate System (114 x 114 mm) * Using a metal extruder, print the provided STL file to mount it (just the normal mount with the top cut off)
