When I started to build the 3dtje mini 3d printer, I thought the build volume was 100mm x 100mm x 100mm, but i was sadly mistaken. So when I realized it was more like 100mm x 100mm x 50mm.... it put the idea in my mind to make it a little taller. This is my first 3d modeling project really, so if it needs tweaks or whatever please don't be shy to let me know. I am happy to learn new things. I'm pretty proud of what I did with it, but it is really nothing without the original thing and the remixes such as RX And 57's parts pack. so thank you to all who have spent time making the 3dtje community a better place. new build volume ... 100mm x 100mm x 150mm I added 90mm to the z axis, and i can print up to 150mm I combined the standing plate with the hinge with bowden extruder mount, and i eliminated the electronics part and added sidewalls on both sides. one side is full and the other is partial. (IF you want a version with the original electronics part incorperated, let me know and i'll put it up.) I added 90mm to the backplate obviously to match the standing plate. I made the arch opening taller because i put a heated bed on mine and the wires would rub more than i liked. I put the pattern in the backplate for a ziptie grid, or even route the wires through the holes. I used T8 lead screws because they were cheaper than any others that i could find. I didnt look very long... So i modified the x axis brackets to use T8 leads. Also modified the top z bracket. I combined the Y axis with the Z axis supports, added tabs to bolt down the machine if wanted, but ultimately I wanted the biggest footprint with the least added printing. YOU HAVE TO USE SUPPORTS WITH THIS. but they are minimal. I added a lot of extra support in places that would have printed supports anyway. I also added some wedges in corners to keep the printer from jerking so hard at 90's.
