TBX Training Knife. The TBX or Tactical Blade Mk.X is a lightweight yet durable 3D printed plastic knife designed for self-defense training exercises and airsoft simulated melee combat scenarios. This tactical knife consists of a semi-rigid ABS blade, which is 3D printed in two separate parts, and an ergonomic PLA handle attached securely using a screw or glue. Measuring approximately 12 inches in total length, the TBX has a 7-inch blade and a 5-inch handle. Keep in mind that this dummy knife is primarily used as a prop, possessing no actual cutting power. Nonetheless, it's essential to be aware of the semi-rigid nature of the ABS blade, which can potentially cause injuries due to its firm structure. To assemble the TBX Training Knife, you will require: Super Glue One 3/16 x 3/4 button cap screw Four 3/16 x 3/8 button cap screws A 3/16" thread cutter (for threading the screw holes) Printing Settings: ABS: 230°C; PLA: 210°C; Temperature range optimized for ABS and PLA compatibility. Print Layer: 0.1 to 0.3 mm, with Perimeters set at three or more for added stability. Recommended Infill is 50% or higher for increased density. Cooling System: Enable Cooling Fan only when printing with PLA (ABS requires no fan). Raft Settings: Avoid using Rafts unless necessary due to specific printer requirements.
