3Dslashable LEGO compatible bricks
thingiverse
A few innovative LEGO-compatible bricks that allow you to create amazing sculptures with 3DSlash. If you know someone who loves Lego and Minecraft, this collection of items is sure to delight them. The items consist of a standard half-height LEGO brick at the bottom and a solid cube on top that can be sliced using the app. File names are self-explanatory. For example, 4x2x3brick refers to a brick with 4 studs width, 3 studs length, and 3 times the height of a standard brick. In simple terms: either download a brick and slice it with an app on your computer (https://www.3dslash.net/features_downloads.php) or click the customize button above and use 3D Slash within Thingiverse. If you possess OpenScad skills, you can create your own versions with any width, length, or height. Refer to the instructions in the scad file. You will need to download an additional library called DobloFactory (V. 2x). If square blocks are insufficient, you may also want to read http://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/Doblo_factory. To fine-tune part dimensions, you can adjust walls, studs, and other parameters in the library. Print Settings: Printer: Felix Pro1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 20% Notes: LEGO-compatible prints are notoriously tricky to produce due to differences between slicers. Try using 3 walls for a better fit. If it's still too tight, you can try increasing the resolution to 0.2mm and reducing walls to 2. Post-Printing: Ensuring a Brick Fits If your printed brick is too tight to fit onto a LEGO baseplate, apply heat with a hair dryer (or a heat gun) and then force it onto a real LEGO brick. Alternatively, spend hours adjusting either the OpenScad code or slicer settings until you achieve a perfect fit.
