3DSets Wheel Spacer & Rotor

3DSets Wheel Spacer & Rotor

cults3d

This is a spacer used on models from 3DSets.com (both Landy and Rancher) to move the wheels and tires outward. Making a wider stance and moving the wheels away from the shocks. Giving you more shock options, more potential for articulation, and greater stability. You will need a 20mm or 25mm M3 screw to mount each spacer. You may need to shave a bit of plastic on the inside of the front fender well if you run a large off-road tire such as what is pictured. I did this with a dremel tool with a cutting wheel. (Shaving is only necessary if your tire rubs the front inner fender well when turning and will not be visible from the outside. On real, full scale off-road vehicles, this is often done by cutting or hammering at the seam of the body that is in the same location.) I highly suggest printing these at 100% infill, .16-.18 line height, 205-210 degrees, at around 40mm/s, and 50% "lines" supports from the build plate. Enjoy and post your makes!
