This is a straightforward tooth gear set conversion kit for the 3DSet's Landy and Rancher trucks. The gear ratio remains unchanged. To mitigate printing issues with nylon at high temperatures, double parts are included - pinion gears and transmission shafts. The extra parts slow down the print process, allowing for cooling without needing a fan. Printing the shafts requires a large brim to maintain stability during the process. In contrast, gears do not need a brim; use PVA glue as needed. This conversion kit only includes necessary parts; you'll need your original 3DSet's files to complete the assembly. Two original shafts are retained from the 3DSet's transmission, with no modifications made. Refer to the colored layout in the screenshot for clarification - these are the two blue-colored shafts where changes were required. Yellow and green parts replace existing components. Additionally, two sleeves are included, which fit onto gear shafts closest to the motor plate. These slide on after the gear and lock it in place, preventing movement along the shaft. These sleeves can also be used with original transmissions to secure slant gears. The gear ratio remains unchanged from the original design. This conversion allows for normal 1:10T steel pinion gear usage. You can swap the spur gear from this kit into your original gearbox with slant gears, using a standard pinion gear if preferred. This kit provides more options; you decide whether it's an improvement or downgrade over the original gearbox. Have fun driving in rough terrain!
