3DS XL Grip (with stylus clip)
thingiverse
This grip is ideal for those with cramping hands while playing their 3DS. The support is mainly at the back, enhancing comfort levels by allowing users to hold their fingers behind the device. Additionally, it comes with a stylus clip that makes accessing the stylus easier during games that require switching between touch screen and analog controls. However, the grip has a snug fit, which could be annoying for those who prefer frequent on/off use. The top extensions may also interfere with L/R buttons, and the headphone jack is blocked, potentially inconveniencing users who prefer playing with headphones. Credit goes to GaryJohnson for the design inspiration. To assemble, print the grip, notches, and stylus clip (if desired) using a Makerbot Replicator 1 with recommended settings. Attach the notches to the top pieces, add the stylus clip, remove the stylus, insert it into the clip, and finally place your 3DS inside. Enjoy your improved gaming experience!
