3DS Masterspool Minimal V2
thingiverse
I'm going to update my existing design for a 3DS Masterspool Minimal spool to work seamlessly with 3D Solutech's Masterspool. This revised version excels at preventing tangled filament in side arms when used with filament rewinders. It requires approximately 26m of filament and can be printed within under 8 hours, depending on the settings chosen. To make this design even more functional, I've added an updated version of part 1 that includes space for a label. To assemble the spool, place part 1 without its three center holes on a flat surface. Next, position the Masterspool onto part 1 so that the center splines fit snugly inside the cardboard hub. Then, align part 2's center splines with those on part 1 and ensure the splines from part 1 pass through the holes in part 2. Both parts will snap together securely, allowing you to cut the wire ties holding the filament in place.
