3DS game holder nintendo

Just another 3ds game card holder for kids, a project I undertook to test my skills in creating complex assemblies using Creo. The design required lots of curves, including part lines, to push my abilities to the limit. My goal was to craft an assembly that would need no support yet still look visually appealing. The hinge was also an experiment, as I sought to create a snap-together mechanism requiring minimal or no external supports. While it functions reasonably well, it does require some patience - you'll need to hold it in place and operate it 10-20 times before it settles into its final position. After that, however, the assembly holds up pretty well. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: I opted for 0.2 mm - feel free to go finer if you prefer Infill: A minimum of 10% works well, but more is better Notes: The primary objective was to avoid support structures altogether, thereby eliminating the hassle of removal. Post-Printing Instructions: Carefully work the hinge during its initial use until it fully bedded in.
