3DRC Upgrades

Update 8/12/18: Reinforced rear hubs added to ensure a smooth ride. Update 5/5/18: Steering linkage upgraded for added stability, replacing the broken part with a reinforced version. Update 4/28/18: An upgraded spur gear is now in place, providing extra strength and allowing users to secure it to a shaft using a set screw. Update 4/22/18: Additional upgrades have been implemented, including a reinforced rear shock tower, axle, and ring gear. The car is performing exceptionally well. Update 4/16/18: Parts have been thoroughly tested and proven effective. The car handles with ease, making control of the openRC F1 much simpler. These upgrades were designed during the construction of the 3DRC Buggy. Although I haven't had a chance to test drive this car yet, awaiting a new battery and ESC, I'm confident in these improvements. All parts are compatible with the original design, allowing users to select which upgrades they want to print or not. Available upgrades include: 1. Tires: A slight bulge has been added to the sidewalls for increased flexibility. 2. Wheels: The solid disc has been replaced with a 4-spoke design for improved aesthetics. 3. Springs/shocks: Custom springs are now available, printed as one piece. Users can adjust the spring rate by changing their thickness. Print some 3mm ID spacers to ensure proper alignment, and scale the front shocks shorter than rear ones for optimal ride height. 4. Rear lower control arms: Made easier to print with added clearance for rear shock mounts. 5. Pinion gears: The ID has been reduced to fit 2mm shafts, and their height increased for enhanced strength. 6. 3mm spacer: Scale this up or down as needed, using it to align the shocks. 7. Rear shock tower: Strengthened for added stability. 8. Rear axles: Reinforced for improved performance. 9. Steering link R: Upgraded with extra reinforcement. 10. Rear hubs: Reinforced for a smoother ride. I'll continue adding parts as I identify areas that require improvement during testing and use.
