A fully functional RC jet boat is now a reality thanks to 3D printing technology. To build this impressive vessel, you will need a range of components, including a 9g servo, motor, ESC, receiver, and 2-3s lipo battery. In addition, some m3x12 bolts, m3x6 set screws, a 3mm stainless steel shaft, and a 3x10x4 sealed bearing are also required. Please respect the license that governs this design and do not distribute it without proper credit or use it for commercial purposes. The main hull and mechanical parts can be printed using any material you prefer. I used PLA and PETG for the impeller, but the seals and rubber washers must be printed in TPU or a similar flexible filament. You won't need much TPU, so a small sample from a reputable supplier like rigid.ink will suffice. I designed this RC jet boat to be printable on even low-end 3D printers, and assembly is a breeze since all parts can be printed at once without the need for gluing or assembling multiple components. For optimal results, I recommend printing at 0.2mm resolution, but 0.3mm will also work. To minimize weight while maintaining strength, print all hull components with a low infill and three shells. No supports are needed if you print in the correct orientations. I've included two different nozzle sizes - 10mm and 14mm - to suit your preferences. I personally prefer the 14mm nozzle for its stability, but the 10mm nozzle could potentially allow for higher top speeds. Before assembling the parts, make sure to tap all holes to prevent damage during assembly.
