This THING! does that for you!\n\n\n \n \n Instructions\nYou'll need: \n1 comparator \n1 screw (5mm in diameter, 25mm in length) \n4 screws (5mm in diameter, 20mm in length) \n10 washers (5mm in diameter) \n3 spacers (5mm in diameter) \n2 butterfly nuts (5mm in diameter) \nYou'll want to print: \n2 copies of the Support1a.stl file \n2 copies of the Support1b.stl file \n2 copies of the Support2a.stl file \n1 copy of the Support2b.stl file \nFor attachment to the Z-axis rod I moved the piece used for the fan motor to the other side of the extruder.
