I designed this gimbal holder specifically for the 3DR Solo and the Hero 4 Black, ensuring a secure fit with its snap-on design. Unlike generic versions found elsewhere on Thingiverse, which have large openings that can't accommodate the counter-weights used on the Hero 4 Silver and Hero 3+ Black, this one provides a snug hold for the Hero 4 Black. The opening has been carefully centered over the GP display to ensure optimal visibility, and its design allows for better fitment and aesthetics. Additionally, there's ample clearance for attaching a lens hood or lens cap. A GoPro lens cap model is also included in the design. Rafts: No rafts are required. Supports: Yes, small supports are necessary under the two pegs at the top to ensure stability during printing.
