3DR Solo DC Charger
thingiverse
I upgraded this design - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2781475. The Solo charger that comes with it requires AC power, which limits its use on the road. This allows me to charge a pack using my car's power, but realistically takes over an hour to fully recharge a depleted pack. It still works and has been created. Check out Grant Conery's Instructables post for information on the DC/DC converter and how to set it up - http://www.instructables.com/id/GM-Multi-Solo-Charger/. Some parts of this case were inspired by my dual charger design - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1949728. This case is tool-less, with everything snapping into place easily. Any 40 x 10 mm fan will work, but I used one from Digi-Key specifically - https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/qualtek/FAD1-04010CBMW11/Q612-ND/2600059. Printer Settings Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: Various Notes: The case and cover were printed in PLA at 30% infill, while the rest of the parts were printed in ABS at 75% infill.
