3DR Radio Case - V.2.

This is a remix of barneyj's excellent 3DR v1 Telemetry Radio Air Case. This is v2 of the radio, not the current 3DRobotics Telemetry radios that are sold in a case. A larger multi-purpose case is here - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:719615 Changes for the v2 3DR Radio include a smaller connector gap and a slightly longer case. The case extends beyond the base of the antenna connector to provide additional support/security between the connector & pcb connection. You can use hot glue or another thick adhesive for added support to the connector. My antenna connector broke off, so I made this new case. Note: The picture shows the radio wrapped first in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil because - RF/EMF noise from the radio causes camera servos, through the APM, to jitter. This method of RF/EMF shielding is quite effective for stopping interference and servo jitter. (The plastic wrap protects the pcb from being shorted by the aluminum foil. The aluminum foil provides RF/EMF shielding of the transceiver/radio emissions which cause problems to nearby electronics.) Instructions Print. While you wait for the part to print, take a wrap of plastic film around the radio and then a wrap of aluminum foil. Secure the wrapping with small pieces of tape. Insert wrapped radio into the case. Use hot glue or some other thick adhesive to secure the antenna connector to the inside of the case. Snap the case together. Mount the radio and case on your vehicle.
