Iris Phone Bracket V2: Designed Specifically for LG G2 Users Check out the latest update on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1697237 . The bracket's main component is centered around my LG G2 phone, which fits snugly inside an Incipio case. For other applications, you can easily modify the clips. All printed components were made from high-quality PLA material with a precision 0.2 mm layer height and 100% density setting. Notably, the central mount piece is tapped with M3 threads that hold surprisingly well despite the high print quality standards. I secured the M3x25 socket head screws to the center piece using a strong adhesive for added stability. A reinforced M4x45 flat head screw keeps the bracket firmly attached to the transmitter bracket's frame, ensuring maximum durability. A locking nut prevents the bolt from turning, providing extra protection against wear and tear. To add an extra layer of security, I incorporated an M4 nut that fits neatly into the well-shaped design of the thumb screw. For users seeking a more minimalist solution, the iris_phone_bracket1a.stl file features a simplified bracket with a shorter thumb screw, offering adequate performance but may not provide sufficient stability for some applications.
