3DR E3D v6 holder with pneumatic valve top
thingiverse
The printing quality of my E3D delta printer had been steadily deteriorating. Upon investigation, I found that the hot-end was not securely fastened to its bracket, resulting in a considerable amount of lateral movement that caused layer misalignment (first gray print). I was impressed by DragoslaV's 'E3D V6 holder for 3DR', but since I had purchased the version with an attached pneumatic valve to hold the Bowden tube, I needed to make some modifications. Using Blender, I merged the valve socket from RichRap's original J-head design onto the top part of DragoslaV's new bracket. I then printed both parts in blue PETG, my preferred filament at the moment.
