3DR E3D v6 holder with pneumatic valve top
pinshape
The print quality of my E3D delta printer had been steadily deteriorating. I launched an investigation and found that the hot-end was not being securely fastened to its bracket. Instead, there was a considerable amount of lateral play causing layer misalignment (first grey print). I admired DragoslaV's 'E3D V6 holder for 3DR' design but had purchased the version with a separate pneumatic valve to hold the Bowden tube. Using Blender, I merged the valve socket from RichRap's original J-head design onto the top part of DragoslaV's new bracket. I printed the two parts in blue PETG, my preferred filament at the time. You can clearly see the improvement in the second grey print.
