In the Gears of Innovation Challenge, I submitted an entry featuring a unique mechanism. It consists of a single spiral gear rack, four interconnected gear wheels, and a central hollow sphere housing gear guidance. For easy operation, there's a handle at one end. When rotated, the gears roll on the spiral rack. Customization options include various colors and themes like smiley, heart, or flower. This mechanism is compact, fitting within a 6" x 6" x 6" printable area.
