I only use PETG from 3DPSP, but I don't know if they sell different types of spools. The filament clip for filament spools from 3DPSP has a small lip that locks onto the 0.5mm thicker outer ring of the spool. This means it can't be attached where the two holes are and the geometry is different. For me, this has never been a problem. If you have a better idea, take a look at the Fusion360 file I've attached.
