A few blocks make this printer stand out just a little bit. An X-Carriage that lets you attach your motor right onto it, complete with a customized belt holding system - one I've already put into use with great success! It's an impressive combo of belts and strings. My setup has a belt secured on one side, while the other is attached via a string connected to a spring. I modified my Y carriage into two separate pieces for better support and reduced any wobble. With just a few screws holding things in place, there are hardly any additional parts needed to hold it together - only M6 bolts securing A & B, plus some bed mounting screws, and you're good to go! To boost its strength further, I might increase the X size down the line, but for now, this design lets you upgrade your Y quickly without breaking the bank. For filament holding, I created a rough model which should give us a better sense of what's needed - a functional one will have a different support mechanism. Until then, don't bother printing it as it just doesn't quite fit with the rest. As for the glass holders, these are designed specifically to work with panes sold at Home Depot - their standard 8x10 glass. If you'd rather try something else, just let me know your preferred dimensions!
