2019-10-09 Ver.2 Update I upgrade my 3D printer's heat bed to a robust 1 mm copper plate, leaving behind the conventional glass plate used by most users. Most bet clips created by other users are designed for glass plates, so I took on the challenge of crafting a clip that accommodates a thickness of 4.5 mm. Although the copper plate is only 1 mm thick, I'm confident it won't shatter like glass, and its malleability allows me to bend and peel off excess material when needed, making it the perfect choice for my printer. To get the desired dimensions, I had a local shop that specializes in copper plates cut it into bed size for me. This innovative design was created using Tinkercad, an online 3D modeling tool.
