This is my take on the spool holder contest for Joel the 3D Printing Nerd. This spool holder has got what it takes to handle spools with hole diameters ranging from 30mm to 80mm and spool widths stretching up to 135mm. There's a clever notch on the shelf bracket side that lets you keep your spools on the shelf without having to move them over. You'll also spot Joel's cartoonish face grinning at you from the top of the spool nut. To get the best results, make sure to print with an infill of no less than 50% and a minimum layer thickness to ensure it can withstand the weight of a spool of filament.
