This is my entry for Joel Telling's/3D Printing Nerd's spool holder contest. Introducing the 3DPN Micro Spool Holder. My design stands out with its simplicity, compactness, ease of printing and use, full functionality, and flexibility to compensate for inaccuracies in the wood beams. This small spool holder clips on and off anywhere on Joel's filament racks with ease. It uses a curved design to ensure a snug fit, making it perfect for anyone who wants a reliable solution. It doesn't require printing the actual spool holder arm; instead, it accepts the common screw-on style spool holder arm used by Creality, Wanhao, Monoprice, and other manufacturers. This means you can use a spool holder arm that's already in your collection or print one out from online resources. This spool holder is not just great for Joel's filament racks; it's perfect for anyone who wants a hassle-free experience. I personally use it over the original top mount spool holder, and I've included pictures to show you how easy it is to create an open and stable desktop spool holder using 1.5" x 3/4" wood beams. I'd like to give a shout out and big thanks to thingiverse user rawlogic for his Make Select Spool Arm (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2732269), which I adapted the screw threading into my design. This was actually my first 3D model, and I had to rely on rawlogic's expertise to get it right.
